  • What is a Credit Union

A credit union is a not-for-profit, co-operative financial institution, owned and directed by its members. Credit Unions permit those within their fields of membership, as specified in each individual credit union’s charter, to pool their funds, lend this money to one another, and share in the profits of sound financial management without paying excessive fees.
