POPS Positive Opportunities for Parenting Success

The goal of this program is to encourage and enhance the father-child relationship, increase the quality of the father's relationship with the mother, encourage existing community programs to be more inclusive of fathers, as well as promote the development of new community programs for fathers, change attitudes in our community about the importance of father involvement in a child's development and increase father's support systems, while decreasing life stresses. These services are provided through weekly groups led by Marriage and Family Therapists. Family Advocates are available to parents to assist them in locating resources available within the community.
