Are you looking for child care in San Luis Obispo County?

When it comes to children, "quality" is the password and expectation of parents. It is only natural and right that parents pay particular attention in choosing care for their children. Making informed choices can be an overwhelming task. At CCRC, we seek to empower parents with the skills required to select appropriate care. We are an information source with vast knowledge in the area of child care, and knowledge of programs available to help families find affordable care.

CCRC maintains a list of licensed child care providers. 6-8 referrals are given to parents as a result of a random search. CCRC encourages parental choice and suggests that the parent visit each provider on the list that they are given in order to find the best fit for their child.

CCRC can also provide resource materials on choosing appropriate child care for your child and discuss the different child care options available in our county.

  • Is the equipment safe and in good repair?
  • Are the materials appropriate to the child's age level and easily accessible?
  • Is there adequate heating and ventilation?
